The lifeblood of the church is a vital relationship with the Lord Jesus, expressed in private and corporate worship. At FBC, our goal is to lead worshipers to experience the presence of God.

We strive to accomplish this through Bible-based celebration and proclamation of God's Word that exalts our Savior and leads us to kneel in submission before His throne. Our prayer is that all who are present will have an encounter with the risen Lord.

The music ministry of FBC seeks to enhance and enrich this worship experience, and train a new generation of future worshipers and worship leaders. We have choirs for all ages, and a variety of instrumental ensembles. In addition, we share the good news of our hope in Christ through special choir and orchestra presentations on selected occasions each year. Our choirs are open to anyone who is interested in sharing in our worship vision and who can commit to the appropriate schedule. Contact Tommy Havens with questions.

Festival Choir (age 18-up) seasonal presentations
Sound Foundation (grade 8-college) sings in Sunday evening worship service twice per month; rehearsal each Sunday, 5:00-6:00 PM (late August through June)

First Baptist Church is privileged to have a four-octave set of handbells. Currently we have one adult handbell choir which meets on Monday mornings at 10:00 and an adult beginning handbell choir which meets on Sunday afternoons at 5:00 during the school year.
