Life Story

My name is Keith Shipley and I am Senior Adult Pastor here at FBC. I have been married to my wife, Kathy, for 42 years and we have 4 children:  Brandon, Christopher, Logan, and Emily and we also have 6 grandchildren.  Prior to joining FBC, I owned and operated Shipley Plumbing, Electrical, and Heat and Air for 40 years and I have a Master’s license in each of these areas.  At age 30 I surrendered to the ministry as a bi-vocational pastor.  I have served in different capacities for 35 years at local churches in the surrounding areas over the years including: Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor and after serving as Pastor at Rover Baptist Church for nine years I came to FBC in 2013.  In coming to FBC I served as Interim Sr. Adult Pastor until the end of 2013.  I was added to the staff as Sr. Adult Pastor in January of 2014.  I also serve as the Benevolence Pastor.

Salvation Experience: I was saved when I was 11 years old at Russellville Missionary Baptist Church.
