Our purpose is simply “to know Him and make Him known.” We believe the Christian life should be centered on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the only way to heaven is to admit that we are sinners and accept the free gift of salvation offered to us by the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And, as we come to know Him better, we’ll begin to share Him with those around us.
We are a church that believes in reaching Russellville one family at a time. All of our ministries work together to minister to every age, birth through 100 and older! We use programs such as AWANA, Upward Basketball, Vacation Bible School, and Celebrate Recovery to strengthen families and impact our community. The family has a clear mission from God, and the church’s primary role is to help establish and equip the family to fulfill its mandate from God. Sunday School is the key to our Sunday morning activities. These small groups are intended to help individuals develop deep relationships with others in similar life stages while studying the Word of God together. The Sunday School class is our most important step in discipling an individual to grow in Jesus Christ. Check out our latest Sunday School brochure here!

Our worship services are centered around authentic worship and expository preaching of God’s Word. We believe worship is, first and foremost, about God and our worship of Him. Our services are informal (you might say business casual on Sunday mornings) and feature a blend between hymns and choruses.
We believe that the Word of God is absolutely infallible and inspired by God. It is the most powerful tool in the life of the Christian, helping believers make decisions and order their lives. And we believe that the proper teaching of the Word, combined with sound application of the Word, changes lives. Our services, Sunday School, and all other activities reflect this.
We know we are called to reach the city of Russellville and the entire River Valley. But we also know that the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20 calls us to take the Gospel of Christ to the entire world. World missions is at the heart of our church’s efforts and financial expenditures. We are actively ministering in multiple continents, and it’s always our desire to do more!
We are proud to be a participating member of the Southern Baptist Convention. We affirm the Baptist Faith & Message as our doctrinal statement, and we fully support the SBC ministries within the United States and the world.
